We don’t sell Airtable development services. At least that’s what my brand consultant tells me. “Think about Jeep.” he says “They don't sell cars. They sell adventure. What higher-order emotional outcome are you selling?”
“Say what?” I shot back. “We Airtable. They money.” As my 10-year-old son would put it: “It’s not that deep bro”.
Then I saw a pest control truck on Park Avenue.
Exterminators are dime-a-dozen, right? But a professional services firm that “protects” your restaurant’s “brand and reputation” from getting flamed on Yelp? The roach guy is now a strategic partner.
That's when it clicked. Nobody buys Airtable, databases, automations or AI wizardry. They buy confidence. Confidence that the information is accurate. Confidence that the team is aligned. Confidence that nobody needs another meeting to understand what's going on.
It only took me four months of brand consulting to figure this out. Yet, it seems so obvious looking back. We don't build Airtable systems any more than Jeep sells cars or Victory Pest Solutions kills cockroaches.
We enable music industry professionals to feel confident that everyone is operating from the same source of truth, allowing the organization to move quickly without constant coordination and oversight.
That's the company we've been building all along.
Soon we'll be retiring "Airtable development for music moguls" and going forward with:
RELATIONL Move fast with confidence Operational intelligence for modern music companies
